May 24, 2012 - Haiti's a libertarian paradise. "In short, we must face the fact that the purely free society will have a flourishing free market in children." ~Murray Rothbard, dean of the Austrian School of economics and the founder of libertarianism

Apr 28, 2012 - this makes me so mad what would have these slave owners ancestors say about this?
conman2317 Says:
Apr 22, 2012 - dude a muslim is a religious state not a race.
KillaKem2 Says:
Apr 21, 2012 - These restavik interviews are a little careless and might put these kids in perilous situations, if you are going to interview a kid about the oppressive situation he/she finds him/her-self in, don't make it so outwardly obvious to the oppressor that the kid has said something to incriminate them.

Apr 5, 2012 - Russians hate us

Apr 5, 2012 - I feel soo bad when I see this. Because living in America has really made me feel out of my element. People here are so ungrateful-so many people I knew who had the money to go to school didn't even attend school, and yet people in these countries only wish they could go. I feel bad. And yes I do have to agree with the person below that this is not slavery, but a major world crisis
astmapiippu Says:
Mar 28, 2012 - Yeah this has little to do with slavery. This is called poor. Btw people in Haiti look really healthy, they look healthier than people in Western countries.
astmapiippu Says:
Mar 28, 2012 - They should go to Saudi-Arabia. Most slaves are in Muslim countries, but for some reason Al Jazeera is not interested in this.
mexipacfan Says:
Mar 21, 2012 - So sad,no human being on this planet deserve to be treated like an animal except those who do evil like the slave masters
mauriceh995 Says:
Jan 22, 2012 - we can just blame the russians for all our problems
MrRossT1 Says:
Dec 28, 2011 - America biggest funder of Haiti? Wow. To call a thief a funder??? WOW. :O Just plain WOW! France, and the USA owe Haiti mass reparations. For stolen wealth, land devastation, using Haiti as a drug port for narcotics and money laundering. Supporting dictators, arming them. Wow.
MrRossT1 Says:
Dec 28, 2011 - Add to it that the ones doing the bombing do not stop doing it. Planes don't fly themselves. A government cannot bomb another country without participants. Taxpayers, soldiers...
MrRossT1 Says:
Dec 28, 2011 - HuH?? Slavery? This is more like child abuse than slavery.
philliptiwo1 Says:
Nov 6, 2011 - History is like a pass on diseases that affect you sometimes if it doesn't affect you at all.
philliptiwo1 Says:
Nov 6, 2011 - The most wicked act of injustices i know is when a nation goes to another nation and bombard innocent people with bombs and ammunitions, if you can solve this problems first ! surely the other problems will be solve, because there is a lot going on behind closed door that is turning all effort to find solutions to nothing, and to find solution, start from the president.

Nov 5, 2011 - I haven't said anything about Al Jazeera being biased or not. ALL news agencies have a bias. So what? Comparing child labor to forced marriage and rape are two different things. It does not MATTER if it's technically legal for a girl to divorce. They shouldn't have been forced in the first place. How would you feel if you were sold to a man you didn't know or like, forced to have sex with him, beaten, treated like property and could be killed on a whim? You're glossing it over.
ahmed337799 Says:
Nov 4, 2011 - yep well i hardly see how that makes aljazeera in anyway biased. forcing children into labor doesn't compare to a woman marrying another man against her will, especially since it's legal in muslim countries for a woman to divorce.
ciaochowbella Says:
Nov 4, 2011 - You made a comment in public forum. That gives anyone the right to reply. If they are being paid for their work, it might not qualify as slavery. However, a forced marriage is. But these are not the only forms of exploitation. There are many forms of slavery. Oh, and it's not merely my problem as you so dismissively state. It's the problem of the world. Your cold, simple definition of it rather exhibits a lack of compassion for your fellow humans. I hope that isn't the case.
ahmed337799 Says:
Nov 4, 2011 - why did you reply to me in any case? i posted to someone who keeps trying to discredit aljazeera by fabricating stories that demonize muslims. that's it. as for slavery existing everywhere, that just depends on how you define it. if you think arranged marriages or cheap indian labour is slavery that's your problem.
ciaochowbella Says:
Nov 4, 2011 - Then why did you comment "cheap shot" to me? BTW, slavery does still flourish in Muslim countries. It's a fact. It is present in every country of the world. Slavery is more prevalent in those countries that have a more religious societies than in those that don't. You don't have to take my word for it. You can look it up. You have the power of the internet at your fingertips. Use it.
ahmed337799 Says:
Nov 3, 2011 - you didn't allege anything, it was the idiot above me who said that muslim slavery flourishes till today.
ciaochowbella Says:
Nov 3, 2011 - Did I distort the truth? Please point out exactly where and how.
ahmed337799 Says:
Nov 3, 2011 - no, truth distortion is cheap. truth itself is priceless.
