Mar 21, 2012 - I work with many musicians who are professionals. My son is a well respected singer and ax slinger who plays up and down the coast. He has been making a nice living at it for nearly 10 years. He played with a band for 3 years before going solo. Take some professional lessons if you want to really want to see what you can be capable of. Take some soon to avoid bad techniques. Practice, practice and practice. Good luck.
Mar 10, 2012 - Experiment with your speaker cabinet. Placing a piece of carpet under it, when on a wooden floor changes the brightness. Same for placing a couple of blocks of wood beneath it on a carpeted floor... an old-school sound setup trick for when you need to tune close to the drummer. A band will be no better than the bass and drummer. They are like an offensive line. Not much credit given, but they are the foundation of a good team and so are the bass and drummer.
Mar 1, 2012 - My babysitter introduced me to "college music". This song brings back so many memories and it's also one of those songs, that, not matter how f-ed up your day was, it makes you feel better.
