Feb 4, 2012 - Gamers should understand that this bill is simply a plan to create and fund another bureaucracy on the backs of consumers of a hugely successful and profitable gaming industry. There going to tax video games in order to fund charities? Isn't that a little redundant? Ironic how Oklahoma State Representative Will Fourkiller wants to deal with the issue of bullying by, you guessed it, bullying responsible consumers into paying an unjust tax on social issues that can't be solved by taxation.

Feb 4, 2012 - @rudeboy9179 Good for you, you understand simple mathematics
Tranic85 Says:
Feb 4, 2012 - i dont believe one bit that all the proceeds from the taxes will end up going to go to those charities.. they'll divert the funds else where because the state is in debt.
Warxjay Says:
Feb 4, 2012 - Hey joyce im having a mtu problem for gaming do you know how to fix that problem

Feb 3, 2012 - "videogame's contribute to allot of societal problems. it can't be the parents, and it can't be the schools, so it must be the videogames" yes, those are the implications. another power hungry asshole
crazyasscool7 Says:
Feb 3, 2012 - thats honestly not a bad idea to tax junk food, that would bring so much money for possible services like make gyms cheaper or something along those lines.
andrewwowk Says:
Feb 3, 2012 - I'm not sure if I want to play the ME3 demo - I kind of feel like I should just wait until the full game is released, because if I play the demo and finish it I'll only end up being all like "ARGH NEED TO PLAY THE FULL GAME NOW!" whereas if I just hold out for the full game I won't be teasing myself.

Feb 2, 2012 - Of course they blame video games, TV is old news so they can't blame that anymore and the parents can't be blamed for raising their bastard child SMH. Are you going to sign up for the beta of Gface? I will if you will :D

Feb 2, 2012 - using* woops
DCbasterd Says:
Feb 2, 2012 - This is something that has always aggravated the crap out of me. Its NEVER the schools, or the parents, its gotta be some kind of entertainment medium. Even though most of the time, when a kid gets bullied and does something to fight back, hes the only one who gets punished. And when a kid is overweight, its not the parents job to teach them portions, or to get them active, because those parents are suing that TV or viedo game system as a BABYSITTER!. People drive me insane...
Greden85 Says:
Feb 2, 2012 - Also, going crazy for Mass Effect 3.
Greden85 Says:
Feb 2, 2012 - Yea...that law is just crazy. I think they hold the belief that only children buy video games and not the voting population. Perhaps they should start watching you, Joyce. Time to be informed ;-)
sparton1199 Says:
Feb 2, 2012 - video games cause bullying and violence? thats their arguement? what is it, 1999?
