Paul Simon and John Lennon co-presenting the GRAMMY for Record Of The Year at the 17th GRAMMY Awards The GRAMMY Museum debuted its latest exhibit — John Lennon, Songwriter — in association with Hard Rock International, in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the legendary artist's birth on Oct. 9. The exhibition will pay tribute to the seven-time GRAMMY winner's songwriting genius, his roots and influences, and will explore various elements of Lennon's songwriting history. John Lennon, Songwriter will cover some of the singer/songwriter's early influences including Eddie Cochran, Bob Dylan, Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, and more; his time with the Quarrymen and the transition into the early Beatles period; his songwriting collaborations with Paul McCartney; and his transition from the Beatles to a solo artist/songwriter and his work with Ono. May 26, 2012 - Listen,.We tribute the Beatles the same way an author does by writing a book about them.I am not claiming to BE John Lennon. You're just one of those people looking for an arguement because you have an unhappy life. The people who come to see us like Beatles music. That's good enough for me.If you don't like it turn your head away sad little person

May 26, 2012 - You're trying to plug your own act, which is a copy. How very sad. John was original, he didn't need to pretend to be anyone else. Go get a life man.

May 11, 2012 - Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel are vastly underrated musicians, as even the comments to this video shows. And they were (and still are) some of the classiest guys in the music industry. Art is one of the greatest singers and Paul one of the greatest songwriters; it's a shame they aren't more appreciated.

May 3, 2012 - John was so FUN and what a couple of stuffed shirts Paul and Art are.Lennon was so happy here. I play John Lennon in a tribute band (youtube Beatles 101) but no one can do them justice.

Apr 11, 2012 - The whole thing was a big party for Lennon, but it was VERY cool of him to show up and present the award. I bet Lennon knew that things were icey between those 2 and that's why he made the comments he did....pretty funny. Andy Williams playing along was cool too....
