Oct 29, 2011 - On September 6, 2001, Kenneth Waters fell from a 15-foot wall while taking a shortcut to his brother's house after a dinner with his mother. He slipped and fell, dying from injuries related to head trauma, just six months after his release from prison. Kenny's death is not mentioned in the film. AND THAT'S HOW LIFE TROLLED THIS TALE

Aug 29, 2011 - The justice system is in need of serious overhaul. Some people have no souls, for someone to sit there for 18 years knowing that someone is doing hard time for a crime they did not commit is beyond understanding.

princessamina1 Says:

May 14, 2011 - What?! It would have been the worst slap in the face ever for him to turn around and commit a crime immediately after his sister worked so hard to have him freed.

jquiroga2k Says:

Mar 13, 2011 - I think it takes huge amounts of patience, forgiveness and understanding to spent 18 years in prison for a crime I did not commit and get out of there, be at peace with my self, and not do some serious damage to the people that put me there in the first place. So Kenny deserves as much credit as his sister.

Mar 12, 2011 - The movie Conviction was very good. It is a shame how this guy was railroaded by a crooked cop. That cop should have been given time.

xxladybug94 Says:

Mar 11, 2011 - how did he die???

Feb 20, 2011 - I just finnished watching the film 'Conviction' staring Hilary Swank, and I must say, this is really quite a remarkable and touching story. God bless Betty Anne, what a wonderful sister and human being she is. The film prompted me to read more about this story, and I am deeply saddened to hear of Kenny's tragic passing, and only six months after being released, SIX MONTHS!, just so sad.

asburysmith Says:

Feb 6, 2011 - agreed. after i just read about him passing after he got out.. makes me fucking pissed at the peope who falsified the evidence.

Jan 15, 2011 - Words do little to describe how amazing this story is. After reading all about it, I'm left speechless. Betty Anne Waters is a hero. She's incredible. She did what nobody does. The innocence project is built by good people like her working hard for a just cause. Thank you =)

thesearcher Says:

Jan 9, 2011 - The fact he died 6 months after getting out makes me want the cops who lied and falsified evidence to put him there to be punished even more.

nani1962 Says:

Jan 6, 2011 - Sad to hear after 6 months free he fell and died

ayansb Says:

Jan 5, 2011 - What this video doesn't mention is the fact that Kenny died in an accident 6 months after being released from prison.
