Also, them sampling this did breath life into it again, cuz those curious of where the sample came from go looking for the original, and might even fall in love with it (like me). And, again, the originators of the songs that are sampled get paid, too, so it's all good in the end:)

Biggie's "Hypnotize" was released in '96 while this song came out in '79. This is the track that Puffy (or whoever) sampled for "Hypnotize" in the first place! II just hope I misread your comment (or, you're just joking), otherwise, you've got a whole lot to learn about hip hop and sampling!

May 13, 2012 - no doubt! lol...this is the real deal. I learned to play the entire album in 2 weeks on my trumpet back in the day.. I could hardly believe it myself. Herb is a class act...
I watched him host and evening at the improve on tv once, He said" how do you make a million dollars playing the trumpet"? " By starting out with 5 million'..lol what a cool down to earth guy...
