May 23, 2012 - This game was a rental at best. The game was short and had no DLC either. The story was really not that in depth and neither was the gameplay. I honestly didn't this game overall compared to the other Splinter Cell's. I liked the stealth the series was known for and the strategical way you would have to go about things. This is one of those instant satisfaction type games and the hype for this game did not last. They should return to there roots.

May 8, 2012 - super cool game!!!!

May 6, 2012 - Then you are playing games for the wrong reason, especially this series. Please pass up your gaming badge, you have lost your right to consider yourself hardcore.
nozouf Says:
May 6, 2012 - Are you crazy!? The entire game is about Sams conviction, and thrive to find out what truly happened to Sarah. Without him the game literally could not exist. Like I'm not saying it's an amazing game, it's not better than say Chaos Theory, or the first game. But it's more refined and more about Sams life than "any" of the other games. I play games for the story and for the mechanics, not how many necks I can snap!
Nazrat84 Says:
May 6, 2012 - Sam's story is only good when it's about Sam
Brady2k10 Says:
May 6, 2012 - they took alot of the fun elements out, like moving bodies, throwing bottles for distraction, holding onto pipes and breaking peoples necks that was cool. The weapons IMO in splinter cell conviction are shit. A splinter cell doesnt and shouldnt operate like fucking rambo the complete opposite of a splinter cell, in conviction i can run and gun before u had to remain quiet and 3 alarms and the mission is over that made it more fun and challenging because if u get seen missions over
nozouf Says:
May 5, 2012 - It's litterly part of the story, and as far as I am aware of there is only "one" Iraq mission and you "don't" even play as Sam! I mean did "anyone"!! Pay attention to the story AT ALL??
nozouf Says:
May 5, 2012 - Uh..... Dude he quit, have you even played double agent? Cause he leaves third echelon, he no longer has to play it stealthy cause he no longer follows any of the rules. It's the same in the books....... Yeah there were books too!!!!!! And also it still is a stealth game but it has the "option" to go Rambo. They increased the intensity of the stealth and made it more challenging, I can do entire missions without being heard, yet people complain that it's un-stealthy.
wassup048 Says:
May 2, 2012 - you have to remember, he was part of a secret organization, doing missions that some in the government never knew about. he had to be stealthy, sneaky. in this one, he no longer is part of it. he has free rein of what he does. plus he learned some new info on his daughter's death. he would do anything to get her back in his life. if it means that he has to kill anyone and interrogate anyone he would do it.
aprillo Says:
Apr 30, 2012 - Im pretty sure they can be considered canon since they don't contradict the games and elements from the books(such as Krav Maga and the time in Iraq)have been brought to the games.
ekbalmalak Says:
Apr 30, 2012 - I might sound stupid asking this, but I got something made me pretty confused, when I was playing Conviction some phrase caught my sight, in your Weapon Stash the description of the remote mine says: Remote Mines will attach to any surface it touches, shouldn't it be: Remote Mines will attach to any surface THEY TOUCH ,lol not sure however
GreatManMr Says:
Apr 29, 2012 - They are actually not. They have their own canon equivlent to side stories.
aprillo Says:
Apr 29, 2012 - The books are canon.
Nazrat84 Says:
Apr 29, 2012 - The books are not canon however. The books have their own canon separate to the games like most adaptions. And that makes the game a shooter, killing everything and stuff. It's technically not stealth.
aprillo Says:
Apr 29, 2012 - He got really pissed off in this game so he uses his stealth skills and Krav Maga skills to quickly and decisively strike at his enemies. Also, him serving in Iraq WAS canon. Read the books.
ericme99 Says:
Apr 10, 2012 - They completely changed what splinter cell is all about in conviction it just deviates from the splinter cell series. Its just not stealthy anymore and the online sucks, First time players could only like this game AND as for Ubisoft, If you guys dont know how to improve games than just remake chaos theory and make it available for the xbox 360 and from there just update it. add more maps, weapons, gadgets, spy suits, upsilon suits, character customization for both online and campaign God damn
LopezFam4Productions Says:
Apr 9, 2012 - 144 people didn't stand by their convictions.
XTRfan Says:
Mar 30, 2012 - "There is no walking away from us Fisher, we made you, we own you and we always will!" Sinngemäß: "Du kannst uns nicht entkommen, wir haben dich zu dem gemacht, was du bist, du gehörst uns und wirst uns immer gehören!"
viktorstojanov Says:
Mar 26, 2012 - Awesome. Can't Wait for Splinter Cell 6...
GiladLukash Says:
Mar 25, 2012 - Best game in the series!
DimAlbisoara Says:
Mar 24, 2012 - This game disappointed me...:(...really....double agent was more interesting!
BobThePatriot Says:
Mar 23, 2012 - the most epic trailer for a video game ever

Mar 21, 2012 - one of my biggests disappointments........
