May 26, 2012 - Jesus, you go through have a dozen eggs per serving? I'm gonna take a shot in the dark and say American. 3 1/2 cartons a week seems a little excessive. If you have an average sized family with the same over doing it habit as you, I can imagine a fridge just stock piled with eggs.

May 26, 2012 - 3 eggs is way to skimpy portion and you wouldn't last 5 minutes on that amount of food. at least 6 and more if you are a big person. if you feed your kids 6 eggs per day for breakfast they will perofrm much better in school than a crappy bowl of junky cereal. people feed their kids on junk like coco pops

May 26, 2012 - between 6 and 8 eggs is a healthy breakfast. compare it to the junky crappy cereals some people eat in the morning with milk poured over which turns into a soggy mess loaded with salpt and sugar this is far more healthy. 6 eggs a day at least and exercise and you be much fitter

May 25, 2012 - You can use regular whole milk as a substitute for the cream. Like he said - it's mainly to cool it down a bit and secondly add a bit of flavor. I've been using milk for years and love it. I also use a bit of saved bacon grease instead of the butter. The amount of butter you see him put in - put about half that much of the bacon grease. It gives it kind of a southern style taste - just a hint of bacon.
