Apr 24, 2012 - Distilation... like a solar still? yes it is more "safe" but it can take a long while ( 5 hour per gallon with a modern distiller ) When you are talking about tribal/ underdeveloped areas, cheap and low tech is the name of the game. Boiling water is just more applicable to the situation presented above.

Apr 22, 2012 - Its called distillation, that is the only thing that removes fluorides, some Reverse osmosis may work but i prefer distillation.I thought perhaps boiling helped, so i researched it..& realised it made things worse, mainly due to the movement of the water, activating it. Also as my distiller is boiling I can see a layer of white stuff- the sodium fluoride, fluorosilicic acid,it doesnt go anywhere.!. At my local water plant there is a big sign saying "HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS - BEWARE! " Ironic huh!

Apr 18, 2012 - when i was on vacation in South Africa one day i drunk a glas of water straight out of some basin underneath some kind of a farm in the middle of nowhere.. not cleaned or anything best water i ever drunk! next day we where up on some mountain where we found a water basin and was also the most perfect water EVER who cares i get some parasites maby i get stronger of them >.<
