Shitbird3249 Says:

May 21, 2012 - It's isn't complex to sell products. Coca cola. Now that it's in out there you have a higher chance of buying it the next time you stroll by a display. But give Mr. Eastwood some credit he is an actor but he is an American icon like it or not.

MrLeo443 Says:

May 20, 2012 - anyone who is saying that this commercial is some sort of ad for obama is really lost. This is a car commercial. it is an ad for capitalism. They made it so you will buy their cars. The way that works is pretty complex and very well done, but its only goal is to stroke the consumer ego. if you want to really understand this, you need to first acknowledge that all television ads seek to distance consumers from their status as producers.

YuTubPup Says:

May 13, 2012 - "The Park Bench Chronicles"-it would be a nice movie

DeeM10123 Says:

May 13, 2012 - Ford had international help from several diffrent providers, thats what kept Ford alive. Chevy absorbed koren-based Daewoo in an attempt to make cars that are appealing to todays drivers, and Dodge was bought out by Fiat (which was a wise move for them, indeed). Now all 3 are back on track-and Chrysler has made it's biggest profit in over 20 years last year alone.

MattyJames25 Says:

May 11, 2012 - "Well Ford said no to the government money and they are doing just fine, so Obama had nothing to do with it the economic cycle did" Completely wrong: Ford asked for a nine million line of gov credit, and a five billion dollar loan but Obama actually rejected their application. GM and Chrysler got bailouts which did work. Later Ford said "Yes" to Obama's 'Cash for Clunkers' initiative which was a major success. How about you go research that and cry yourself to sleep.

blackjac5000 Says:

May 10, 2012 - If you don't find yourself either in tears or wanting to shout "Let's get to work!" while running through the streets waving the flag with a crowd of like-minded people alongside you after seeing this video, you're just in way too deep with the anything-for-ratings partisanship.

johngmsu Says:

May 9, 2012 - Actually while ford didn't take the funds they did state that if general motors was allowed to go bankrupt it would have caused the collapse of the entire american auto industry because the supply chain they rely on would be ground to halt with a bankrupt GM. Even "The Economist" which is always pro free market has apologized for apposing the bailout, because without government funds the auto industry turnaround would not have been possible.
