May 17, 2012 - They appear to be Airforce pilots, in training to be able to withstand the immense gravitation forces that happen while flying jet fighters, etc.
But this is just a simulation, a cockpit attached to an arm that spins them very fast around in a circular room, think of a one horse merri-go-round, only on steriods.
You can see what g-force they are experiencing top left of video.
I, like many people must, find it quite amusing.

May 9, 2012 - Also don't forget this 'g' is acting vertically, not laterally. In a car the blood does not run away from your head, so this 'g' is much more punishing than that of a car. Haha, pretty bloody funny though.
