fury1031 Says:
May 17, 2012 - Time in the Doctor Who universe is vastly different from what we think of time. It's more like a great big ball of wibbley-wobbley timey-wimey stuff.
OWADesign Says:
May 16, 2012 - Exactly - in a conventional understanding of time, the loop is a paradox, and paradoxes are impossible. However, time is probably far from what we fondly imagine as 'conventional'.

May 16, 2012 - 1:54 the Doctor has to stop Amy just like he used to do with Jack every time he'd start flirting!
fury1031 Says:
May 15, 2012 - There is no beginning, this loop is just impossible, but happened anyway. Like when the Fifth Doctor and the Tenth Doctor met, Ten only knew what to do because he remembered being Five watching Ten solve the problem.
kalymackayful Says:
May 15, 2012 - "ohhh, this is how it all ends: pond flirting with herself; true love at last"
ThanatosRW Says:
May 14, 2012 - But only the Doctor who pulled the Wibbley lever survived to enter the Tardis and say the Wibbley Lever. Every other Doctor in every other possibility got blown to bits.Only he survived to cement his presence in the past, creating the big ball of time loops.
fury1031 Says:
May 14, 2012 - No, it's more of an impossible stable time loop. Time is REALLY weird in Doctor Who, that Doctor only knew to say the Wibbley Lever because his future self said it because the future self of THAT Doctor said it. It's kind of a big ball of loops there and it's impossible to find where it begins. The Doctor that flipped the lever then goes inside the second TARDIS to become The Doctor that just came in to tell him to flip that lever.
kylie amous Says:
May 12, 2012 - doctor is hot
ThanatosRW Says:
May 11, 2012 - I'm guessing that doctor that entered cane from the only possible future where he pulled a lever and survived. Then the current Doctor went back and cemented the timeline. That is how he knew. Kind of Bill and Ted time travel there.
