Mar 12, 2012 - A 66-year- old single church pastor from a small village in Graubünden, Switzerland became the country's oldest mother when she gave birth to twin boys a few weeks ago. She gave them biblical names, Michael and Joshua. The mother traveled to Ukraine for IVF treatment in BioTexCom Medical Center in Kiev and made a fertilization, which is not available to old single women in Switzerland, also the egg donation is forbidden.

Feb 16, 2012 - If you take a loan out to do invitro and you default on the loan does the bank repo your baby?

Feb 5, 2012 - What is being done legislation wise to help those 6 million people who are struggling with infertility to get insurance companies to cover some of the costs involved in treating infertility? So many elective things like chiropractic care are covered by some but something so natural as wanting to get pregnant is not. How can that be?
JohnnyJohnW Says:
Jan 16, 2012 - Is that your vagina? No it's not, you go away and do with your dick or vagina whatever you want to, but don't come here telling people what to do with their organs.

Jan 16, 2012 - Have you got ovarian cancer? I don't find masturbation humiliating, you don't do it in front of the doctor's face.
jacrn323 Says:
Dec 30, 2011 - Self. Centered.
jacrn323 Says:
Dec 3, 2011 - Lord, have mercy on this sick, twisted "practice." BAD medicine. Do you tell the women about the ovarian cancer they develop later because of the hyperstimulation of ovulation?! How about the porn-stimulated masturbation a man has to do which is humiliating, in the doctor's office in a cup?! Goodness gracious.....what a mess. The children have problems too. But, we just 'want' and feel we 'deserve' a baby. Gift. Life is a gift.
jacrn323 Says:
Dec 3, 2011 - CONTRACEPTION DESTROYS CERVICAL CRYPTS WHICH MAKE MUCUS SPERM NEED! IF YOU WANT TO PRESERVE YOUR FERTILITY, TAKE CARE OF IT BEFORE YOU "WANT" TO USE IT!!!!
jacrn323 Says:
Dec 3, 2011 - None of this is necessary...it's exploitation of women who are desperate! IVF does NOT cure the problems of infertility. Infertility is secondary to an underlying problem which is not fixed (conflict of interest). There is a MUCH safer, healthier and better way for moms and the babies that result (unfortunately the poor embryos which we were all, once are killed because they only "want" a few, and maybe freeze the rest of the people. Try Creighton Model Fertility Care System. 99.5% successful

Oct 1, 2011 - I'm very sorry for your situation. I hope you can create a family just as you wish. Best of luck!
SweetNikkiRoxxx Says:
Oct 1, 2011 - Ive been with my spouse for 8yrs, we have actively tried for the past 5, nothing. And while adoption is something we definitely have looked over, its twice as expensive, and extremely difficult. My problem is I have bad tubes, had 4 miscarriages, and 2 deadly ectopic pregnancies that almost literally killed me. As I said yes i understand how irresponsible it is for women like the octomom to selifishly get implanted with a bunch of kids to be famous, but not everyone is like that
ThePhazonMonkey Says:
Sep 30, 2011 - You're right in that I am not nor have ever been in that situation, and am therefore not educated on the strong emotions and choices involved. I didn't mean to offend you, I was simply stating my opinion. I was a bit too harsh, and for that I apologize. I just think that there is a very thin line between wanting a baby of your flesh and blood (a completely valid aspiration), and being selfish and satisfying your every fling. Please take my words lightly and as if from an ignoran
SweetNikkiRoxxx Says:
Sep 29, 2011 - Thats a totally unfair statement. What is wrong with the desire to want to produce and create a baby with your signifigant other? If your statement is in regards to people like the octomom then yes I would agree. But as a women who is completely unable to have a baby on my own im extremely offended by what you said. Sure I can adopt and Im not totally against that either, but its my choice and who are you to judge.

Aug 28, 2011 - Congratz! :)
ThePhazonMonkey Says:
Aug 11, 2011 - IVF is very selfish. People waste thousands of dollars on fabricated babies when they could much more easily adopt a baby and change a life for the better.
surrogacyclinics Says:
Jul 13, 2011 - I think people need to believe in science as they believe in nature to make these kind of treatments successful...
OrthodoxDarwinist Says:
Jul 11, 2011 - It was a joke, but I see you don't have a sense of humor. I'm not sure what you're talking about with the claim that IVF specialists place "extra embryos in the woman and aborting them when the time comes"? You might be one of those bat-shit crazy Christians I've heard of.
thatothergirl456 Says:
Jul 10, 2011 - you are ridiculous... although some people may "owe" your father their life, he is responsible for thousands of more deaths as a result to placing extra embryos in the woman and aborting them when the time comes...I find it abhorrent that you demand praise for this kind of murder
thatothergirl456 Says:
Jul 10, 2011 - this is ridiculous...how does producing more babies that inherit the trait of infertility themselves from their parents solve the problem...it only creates a new one
OrthodoxDarwinist Says:
Jun 5, 2011 - My father is one of the founding pioneers of IVF. True story. You owe him your life, and as his progeny I demand you bow down in reverence.
