We started to win the war just before you decided to join it - Hitler attempted to take on Russia in the Winter, his biggest mistake, not only did he face a war on two fronts but he also faced attacking a country with seemingly unlimited soldiers, who were able to mobilise months before expected. Oh, and even though Britain was near bankrupt, the US gave us a loan which we only payed off in 06 - even though it was expected of the US to gift it.
