Mar 12, 2012 - I tried this and the yellow bell peppers was the sweetest for me....the red one gave me a gas cramp lasting a day. Are these different colors different varieties or do they just ripen from green to yellow to orange to red? I think they are different varieites....if you plant get heirloom varieties and then save your own seed....you don't want GMO or hybrids which don't come true to form.

Jan 20, 2012 - My father planted a large garden back in 2007, we did all we could in our small garden and it did well! It is wonderful to have pickled foods at 1/10th the price! I will never have to pay for pickled foods again! It is wonderful!
