I call emo whatever band plays mellowed-down poser punk with lyrics about chicks and broken hearts, exactly what this band seems to be doing... I don't know what is considered hardcore today, but when I was a teen, it involved being fast and aggressive with political lyrics, definitely not parent-friendly watered-down poser punk like these guys, who are probably friends with Justin Beiber...
