I was going to register Republican in 2008 just to vote for Paul in the primaries because I loved that he was speaking against the Fed and its practices. When it turned out they were illegal, Paul and the rest of the conservatives voted to turn them into tax breaks of the same amount. See how this works? Paul isn't against corporate handouts, he's just a clever politician. He knows what to say to his base. Just like Obama. And, just like Obama, his supporters will make elaborate excuses for whatever he does instead of just facing the simple truth: They lied to you.
