Sudesh Bhonsle kicks starts the show by performing 'Bachna Ae Haseeno' and introduces the other judges and special guests. Bappi Lahiri, who is Kishore Kumar's nephew and Amit Kumar- Kishore Kumar's son, grace their seats as judges but only after a thrilling performance by each of them. Further, special guest Leena recites a couple of verses in the honor of Kishore Kumar. Further, the host of the show Rajeshwari welcomes the twelve contestants, who are split in two teams. All the contestants sing to the tune of 'Aa Dekhe Zara'. The competition has begun and it is only a matter of time till a winner from the lot will rise.
