May 24, 2012 - I'm a huge Laura fan, and I respect her in her own right of course, but this song sounds like Hejira-era Joni, who Laura herself has named as an influence. It's not a bad thing, but genre etymology. Don't get butthurt.

Mar 6, 2012 - This song is also particularly similar to Joni Mitchell because it's her take on her father's song, which, I'm guessing, is more directly influenced by Joni.

Mar 4, 2012 - Every time I listen to this, when she says 'watched the earth's light flicker and fail' I totally forget where I am, what I'm doing, what I'm thinking - she's just the.bees.knees.

Feb 25, 2012 - Around me indie artists have mainstreamed and altered their music for the masses. But marling still stays the same. And I like to think its for me :)

Dec 22, 2011 - I'm so glad I discovered Laura! I found Rumer recently as well. Here in the States I have to watch the Music Brit Awards to find this kind of talent. I saw Boy George presenting best Female Pop Singer to Laura, immediately fell in love with Laura's Ramblin' Man and Rumer's Aretha..
