From The Seekers farewell concert July 7 1968 at the BBC in London.
The last time they sang this song as a group in the sixties.
I hope these few videos give you good memories and can help to keep their songs and music alive. We can not let them be forgotten.
I'll never find another you is composed by Tom Springfield and was recorded at Abbey Road studioes in London november 4 1964.
"I'll never find another you" was to become their first number one hit in the UK 1965.
And by the way,Judith overslept and got late to the studio that day :)
I'll Never Find Another You
There's a new world somewhere they call the promised land,
And I'll be there someday if you will hold my hand.
I still need you there beside me, no matter what I do,
For I know I'll never find another you.
There is always someone for each of us they say,
And you'll be my someone forever and a day.
I could search the whole world over until my life is through,
But I know I'll never find another you.
It's a long, long journey, so stay by my side.
When I walk through the storm, you'll be my guide, be my guide.
If they gave me a fortune, my pleasure would be small;
I could lose it all tomorrow and never mind at all.
But if I should lose your love dear, I don't know what I'd do,
For I know I'll never find another you.
(Instrumental bridge with wordless vocals)
But if I should lose your love dear, I don't know what I'd do,
For I know I'll never find another you.
Another you,
Another you.

May 26, 2012 - No harm done.I usually use the expression "her little finger," or "little toe." What I always thought was so classy about Judith was that, unlike the "mods" of the day, she never wore short, skimpy skirts, etc; always was she dressed in those lovely,full-length dresses that she actually made herself.Talk about the kind of girl you'd be proud to take home to meet your mother! Ha! Either of us should be so lucky.Meanwhile, the tramp Spears is running around in short skirts & no panties.Sickening.

May 25, 2012 - This is the time that was so real in the hearts of young people everywhere. I was young, and now I am older. I could search the whole world over and never find another guy like my Bobby. The words to this song says so much to the heart, I'll never find another you! I could lose it all tomorrow and I wouldn't mind as long as I am always Bobby's girl!

May 25, 2012 - You know, I DID hesitate when I wrote the "dirt under the nails" part, knowing full well there is no chance there is any dirt under her nails, or anywhere else for that matter. I guess I just wanted to be true to that expression I use from time to time. It's just funny to me you busted me on it because I already knew it was inconsistent when I wrote it! That just shows me you're paying attention!

May 25, 2012 - Sad,isn't it,that this bunch of nothing is what the little girls will accept and adore, because they have nothing more than this? I agree about Judith's abundance of talent, except I'm sure she, being the proper and regal lady that she is, HAS no dirt under her nails! lol But we're totally in agreement, as far as Judith, and her stature; so far above the current crop of "garbage du jour" that they couldn't even SEE her with the Hubble Telescope, much less approach her, talent- and persona-wise!

May 25, 2012 - I agree and made a similar comment on another upload of them doing the same song, before I read yours here. I think that is one of the main reasons The Seekers/Judith are loved by so many. I don't know of another voice that even comes close to hers, in that respect.

May 25, 2012 - I'll take one Judith over all the Brittney Spears, Christina Aguileras, Miley Cyrus', Taylor Swifts and Carrie Underwoods you can throw at me til the end of time. Judith has more talent, class and poise inthe dirt under her fingernails than the others have in their whole bodies. And she's cuter than all the others too. I was at a Carrie Underwood concert to see the opening act, and when C.A. came on, she couldn't carry a tune in a bucket. Absolutely terrible and the little girls were going wild.

May 25, 2012 - Romance and love. Now we only hear sex. How sad.

May 24, 2012 - Absolutely!People who get packaged and sold, like Brittany,et al.No talent whatsoever, but "pretty,"(debatable)and hence, marketable to the13 year-olds you spoke of.As I've told my friend of 40 years,we're so lucky to have been born and to have grown up in the time that we did. You're right there with us,in terms of life experiences.I truly feel very sad for the kids growing up in this day and time(I don't have any, myself),who will have Miley Cyrus and Usher to look back on as their "oldies."

May 24, 2012 - I agree with you 100%, especially her voice, poise, timeless natural beauty and being hopelessly in love with her. What saddens me is what would happen if the girl in this video were to show up on a show like American Idol today? She doesn't have the look that they expect, and one that the 13 year old girls (who do most of the voting) will vote for. She would lose in favor of the kind of talentless schmucks that do win. BTW, I was born in '57, so respect your elders! ;-)
