Mar 11, 2012 - Good Movie. The Helmet and Uniform Styles are accurate. However, it's also full of historical inaccuracies. #1: Art Modell presenting the newly drafted Jim Brown w/his Browns Jersey? Brown was drafted in 1957. Art Modell didn't purchase The Browns until 1961. This also proves the fact that he showed up at the '60 Cotton Bowl. #2: It was Paul Brown, not Modell who pulled the deal w/The Skins w/o Modell's knowledge. #3: Texas Coach Darrell Royal wouldn't have put up w/ all that racist garbage.

Feb 12, 2012 - A brief note about Ben Schwarzwalder, who was The Syracuse Head Coach at this time. (Dennis Quaid plays him in the movie.) At first, He was not too crazy about Blacks in General but was willing to play them because he knew they could play. Over time (Especially when Ernie Davis was there.) he became more sympathetic to Blacks because of all the racist crap they were going through. Much of which he witnessed first hand. He eventually loved Davis as if her were his own son. People can change.

Feb 12, 2012 - Jim Brown SHOULD HAVE won the Heisman in 1956, not Paul Hourning (who was on a Notre Dame Team with a losing record.) The late Dick Schapp (a legendary sportswriter. Google his name.) said that '56 was the first and last time he had a Heisman Vote. He quit doing it after one vote because of the way Brown was robbed.
