Sounds waves can be "seen" in this exhibit at the Ft. Lauderdale Museum of Discovery and Science (www.mods.org Styrofoam pellets react to sound waves introduced by loudspeaker at one end of the transparent tube. Sounds emitted by the speaker are generated by a synthesizer controlled by the visitor.
